call me imprudent. deem me hasty.
as the glasses rise, my nails trail down your spine. i feel your goosebumps. i recognize your hunger, i've seen your thirst.
the world seeps through the window, a chilly drizzle intensifying the heat of your body against mine. my hands reach your waist as you tilt your head back, surrendering to my touch. the daylight might hold you close, but tonight you are mine.
as my lips meet your neck, a sigh of urgency strikes against the cold breeze. your hips press forward, your legs pull me closer. the air seems difficult to grasp as you stare at my eyes, pleading for more.
and when i feel your warmth on my fingers,
hear your gasps echo through my room,
i'll understand the determination of sisyphus,
for i would devote lifetimes sufficing your lusts
as you arch your back,
your final breath collides with mine.
i'll kneel before you, savoring the taste of this new beginning
how could this not work, when you linger so sweetly on my mouth?
